Skyfish New Product
American drone company Skyfish has recently released two autonomous commercial drone platforms. Both are industrial-grade drones capable of flying for 60 minutes without any payload installed.

A notable feature of the two drones is their ability to carry various payloads, including sensors such as electro-optical, thermal, methane detection lasers, radar, and Sony Alpha series cameras (perhaps most notably).

Specifically, both the M4 and M6 can be equipped with Sony Alpha series A7 cameras, including the Sony A7 iv, Sony A7 iii, Sony A7 ii, Sony QX series, and Sony R10C.
Sony has just launched its first drone, Airpeak, at CES 2021 last week, and Airpeak is equipped with an Alpha camera.

But Sony hardly sees Skyfish as a competitor; instead, it appears to view it as a collaborator. Airpeak was born for high-end film production, while Skyfish's new drone is clearly designed for commercial applications. However, this collaboration indicates that Sony is seriously entering the drone industry and strategically positioning itself to make its cameras applicable across the commercial sector of the entire drone world.

Skyfish Mission Control™ Flight planning software
Here are some impressive specifications for the M4 and M6:
Flight Time: Up to 60 minutes without payload.
High Resolution: Up to 61-megapixel, enabling precise photogrammetry.
Speed: Top speed of up to 105 km/h.
High Precision: Integrated depth RTK for accurate positioning down to one centimeter. Seamless Integration: Skyfish handles everything on its autonomous platform-from controllers to battery packs to software-meaning each product is built specifically for its purpose, not modified from third-party components.
Payload Versatility: This could be the biggest feature of both drones, as with Skyfish's Skymind technology, they can support nearly any type of payload.
Skyfish M4

The Skyfish M4 is designed for photogrammetry and the creation of high-fidelity 3D reality models, used in engineering-grade inspections and critical infrastructure surveying. Resources commonly modeled with the M4 include cell towers, bridges, gas refineries, and cooling towers.
Skyfish M6

Skyfish M6 is designed for heavier payload and environment-aware robotic interaction. For example, M6 can carry 5.5 kilograms for over 30 minutes and trigger BVLOS mechanical actions from 8 kilometers away.
